Meet our new Head of Client Services & Creative Consultant, plus some strategic hires

Hold up! It feels like only yesterday we shared a bevy of exciting hires…

Slowing down on shaping tomorrow isn’t on our radar in 2019, so we’re back (we admit, rather quickly!) to share another round of promotions and new faces.

Our latest expansion strengthens our core business and specialist teams, enabling us to better partner with our clients to anticipate their (and the world’s) future needs.

We value entrepreneurialism at Sling & Stone and we congratulate our team on these new and exciting roles.

Brad Tubb steps up to Head of Client Services

We are proud to share that Brad Tubb is stepping into a new role as Head of Client Services.

Brad will work closely with our leadership team to develop new services for Sling & Stone that are custom-fitted to our clients, helping them change the future faster. He’ll also oversee and bolster our already industry-leading client happiness and service excellence, in addition to advising on strategic campaigns for his existing clients.

Brad has a proven track record in both the UK and Australia in shaping and growing world-class communications agencies, and we are confident he will have a hugely valuable impact in this new role at Sling & Stone.

Hannah Jackson moves to Creative Consultant role

Hannah Jackson moves into a new role as our lead Creative. Hannah has always gotten a kick out of the ‘eureka’ moment, so her new role is a natural progression for the creatively minded expat.

Hannah will continue to lead creative and integrated campaigns for a number of our clients, while providing consultation to our wider client family. She will be our resident driving force in inspiring forward-thinking creative approaches.

Having advised future-defining brands at Sling & Stone for two years, and having spent nearly eight years working on multi-channel campaigns in the UK for the likes of Coca-Cola, V Festival, and Merlin Entertainments, Hannah’s unique approach to creativity and strategy will continue to take Sling & Stone’s clients into the next stratosphere.

Jackie Levett hired as Account Director, Government Relations

Continuing our specialty expansion, Jackie Levett has been appointed as Account Director, Government Relations. Jackie cut her teeth in media production, working on shows like Sunrise, Ten Eyewitness News, Meet the Press and 2UE, before moving on to politics.

She brings to Sling & Stone extensive public affairs experience, having served as a media advisor for the Hon. Senator Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Science and Research, leading the charge for his senate estimates and question time appearances.

Jackie has also consulted for the Department of Education and Training, Department of Health and Ageing, AusAID, and NSW Ambulance. She will be helping our clients redefine their category and influence the national agenda.

Fran Chitoriski joins as Account Director / Human Resources Manager, Australia

Fran joins us in a newly created joint Account Director and Human Resources Manager role.

Having previously led PR programs for CSIRO, Facebook, ING and the London Business School, Fran will use her deep expertise to lead initiatives for our ambitious fintech clients including Zip, Huddle and 86 400.

With eight years of agency experience under her belt, we are very pleased to be able to give Fran the opportunity to focus on her other passion: developing people. She will split her role between working with clients and Human Resources, managing our training and development, recruitment of top talent, and team growth.

Clementine Crowther returns as Marketing Communications Manager, Australia and New Zealand

After joining us in 2017 as a business and tech Account Director, and then leaving us in 2018 to start a family, Clementine is back in a new marketing and communications focused role.

Pulling on her storytelling expertise, she will be working closely with our leaders to celebrate and promote our work and team, both in industry and with clients.

Clementine will also play a key role in ensuring our clients benefit from our connections in the disrupter network, and in increasing the impact of our work in the innovation economy.

But wait, there’s more!

It’s a lot to take in, but lucky for us the list doesn’t stop there. We’re also thrilled to add the following Slingers to our Sydney office:

  • Brooke Boland as Senior Account Executive
  • Elise Giallonardo as Senior Account Executive
  • Tara Pereira as Senior Account Executive
  • Alexa Painemilla as Account Executive
  • Madeleine Bradford as Account Executive
  • Ruby Topzand-O’Rourke as Account Coordinator
  • Georgia McDonald as Executive Assistant

We’re still hiring:

We have ambitious global growth plans this year, and to achieve our goals we’ll be further adding to our business. We are currently looking for a range of roles across our operations and client service teams. If you’re keen to know more, contact us at https://slingstone.com/join-the-team/

Kya de Rome, Global General Manager, Sling & Stone:

“At Sling & Stone we know who we are and what we stand for. Because of this we’ve been able to build an ambitious client list and stellar team. Growing the right way, and protecting our unique culture, has always been a top priority of ours.

“We truly believe in investing in people and helping them realise their potential. To us, creating roles that allow our talented team to play to their strengths, pursue their long term career aspirations and take ownership over areas of our business they’re passionate about, is an integral part of who we are.

“By bolstering our client, operations and creative teams, we’re also able to deliver a bolder and more integrated service that aligns to the unique needs of the brands we work with. We’ve kicked off 2019 with a bang, our global footprint is expanding everyday and as an agency, we’re incredibly excited for what tomorrow looks like.”
