Aussies challenged to a Raygun dance-off, Samsonite drops a suitcase from space, and a baby penguin reaches new heights of fame… Let’s dive in.

Finder is hopping, popping and locking into the culture with a very cheeky Raygun collaboration. Finder has challenged a critical Australian public to “out-dance” Raygun with a #RaygunChallenge, whereby entrants must dance to a remix of the Finder branded audio. Finder is offering $5,000 for the best solo dancer, and $10,000 for the best dance crew of 2 or more.

Samsonite dropped their suitcase from the edge of space – 130,000 feet to be precise, in a stunning campaign that clearly extols the virtues of its durable new suitcase material, naturally creating a ton of coverage.

We love this playful, innovative idea from IKEA that arose during the peak quarantine period of 2020 – a guide on creating the best pillow forts utilising IKEA products. This is a fantastic example of brand adaptability, building on the strengths of the brand to create moments of joy.

QLD Health is having fun with its social media presence, using trends and engaging tropes to effectively communicate and raise awareness around serious health announcements.

2024 has truly been the year of the zoo animal influencer – with Pesto the penguin now one of Australia’s fastest growing “creators” for September and October! Sea Life’s TikTok following has soared as a result, to more than 100,000 followers in the past month.
