We exist to help tell the stories of the most ambitious brands shaping the future. Few challenges are as important and exciting as transport — of objects and people. Today we’ve grown our future of transport portfolio with the addition of Halo.Car, the company behind remote pilot electric carshare, and EV Charging Solutions (EVCS), one of the largest electric vehicle fast-charging network operators on the West Coast. They join UBCO, a global leader in electric adventure vehicles (EAVs), in Sling & Stone’s expanding future of transport portfolio.

“The transition to electric is imminent and inevitable, and our agency wants to work with brands at the forefront of this movement,” said Erin Grant, Executive Vice President, Sling & Stone.

“Both EVCS and Halo.Car are paving the way for the rapid expansion of EV adoption and the transition to clean energy, eliminating barriers for consumers in innovative ways. Our partnership with the two companies couldn’t be more aligned with our passion to work with challenger technology brands.”

Sling & Stone is activating on integrated brand campaigns for Halo.Car and EVCS with a focus on generating awareness, affinity and traction with consumer audiences. The work to date has been incredibly impactful with earned media placements appearing in the likes of ABC7, Automotive News, Insider, TechCrunch, and more.

Halo.Car, which celebrated a successful beta launch earlier this year and recently announced a $5M seed funding raise, is ramping up its communications campaign work as it enters its next phase of expansion.

Sling & Stone is the ideal partner for us as we launch our brand to market for the first time,” said Cass Mao, Chief Strategy Officer of Halo.Car. “They understand how unique our product is and have been skillful in positioning our story for maximum impact. With their strategic guidance and expertise, we will continue uncovering untapped media conversations and share our insights around the future of carsharing.”

Strengthening its roots across the West Coast, EVCS recently announced the expansion of its innovative EV subscription charging plan, with new tiers designed to meet the fast charging needs of high mileage commuters and gig drivers and ultimately offer EV charging access to a wider consumer base.

“Our partnership with Sling & Stone just makes sense – they understand our goal to reach new audiences in California, Oregon, and Washington as we work to eliminate the hurdles that stand in the way of more seamless EV adoption,” said Kirk Johnson, Chief Growth Officer of EVCS.

“Sling & Stone have demonstrated a clear understanding of our mission and get us even more excited about sharing all that the EVCS team is working on.”

We will continue to strengthen our relationship with automotive brands heading into 2023 as the future of transport is a key focus pillar for the business.
