A city isn’t your typical ‘challenger brand,’ but the cool, compact and connected Wellington community is definitely an up-and-comer on the world stage.
To help tell the city’s story as a rising star, Positively Wellington Tourism engaged Sling & Stone to position the New Zealand capital as a booming hub for tech innovation and entrepreneurialism.
Our campaign was centred on letting media experience the benefits of living and doing business in the region firsthand, but actually sending them to Wellington. We hosted a range of top tier technology, business and industry journalists from major newspapers, startup, business and trade outlets.
Through famils, press announcements, thought leadership and profiling opportunities, we showcased the competitive business and lifestyle advantages of Wellington for entrepreneurs startups, businesses, and ICT and creative talent.
